Allen makes a rookie mistake and quickly locks onto the receiver in the right flat. The Steelers defense watches his eyes and shifts to cover. Allen makes a second mistake and throws to the line of scrimmage with two Steelers defenders between the receiver and the goal line. The Bills fails to score and settle for a field goal. The best play was actually on the other side. He did miss a chance there, but even if we scored there that made it 20-17. Steelers march down for another 3, making it 23-17 we still need 6 on our final drive... and we stalled on 3rd down. We didn’t stall on third down. It was first and 20 when they decided to kick the final FG. The poster is right. The bigger issue is running twice when it was first and goal from the ten yard line. That series on first and ten from the goal line drove me nuts.
