I've heard minimum 8 weeks with Mckenzie, but not sure I trusted the guy.  Either way, the dude told me it wasn't good yesterday, and this kind of shows that.

This doesn’t show anything though. We have 2 WRs out on the COVID list and 1 out with an injury.

We already knew McKenzie wasn’t going to play on Saturday, so signing someone to handle kickoffs and maybe catch passes from Webb or Fromm doesn’t tell us how significant the injury is.

If that’s the case and not season ending, he’s going to have to take a slot on the 53 and then go to IR. Or, the team can cut him at final cut downs to keep someone like Sims, and then re-sign the next day to put on IR for a return during the season. He’s not subject to waivers.

This is just more proof that Brandon Beane is on top of all things concerning the roster.

He keeps showing he has Plan A, B and C options going at all times.

They would have just kept Lenoir then and had Powell do kick offs.  They signed a guy that is pretty identical to Mckenzie.

Not a good sign for Mckenzie's injury 😬

Mckenzie to IR likely.

I would be surprised if any shoulder injury knocked him out for the year

Could be IR for 3 weeks or the year, or could just be another camp body to handle returns for this week or the next couple if a bit longer.  We'll see soon I guess.

Yup.  This is what he does.  Let's not risk anyone else on roster find this guy and maybe he sticks long term.

Sims has some game experience, and play maker ability. If we can get him to the the PS he probably has the talent to be the first wr to get called up.

I have noticed he uses all these guys coming and going at this time of year to get a good group of players to start his PS slots.

Maybe their plan on cutting Lenoir this round of cuts was to sneak him on the PS after final cut downs.

His skill set may be similar but that doesn’t exactly prove how long McKenzie is going to be out for, if at all.

how can you suggest this when the full extent of the injury has not even been disclosed?

It’s more fun to make assumptions and then not deal with being wrong…, 😁👍

Go Bills!!!

Wow, everyone jumping the gun on McKenzie's injury.  The Bills need somebody to return kicks on Saturday.  McKenzie and Stevenson are likely out.  Signing this guy to let him return kicks and get some film on tape says NOTHING about the extent of the injuries to McKenzie and Stevenson.

Is Powell not on this team?
