Can you see Toronto

Perhaps from the top of the Seneca One tower in downtown Buffalo? I’m not sure. Toronto is some 350 feet lower than Buffalo in elevation, so maybe. I’ve seen Buffalo from atop the CN Tower in Toronto on a clear day, though.

You did? When was that?

If you go to Fort Niagara (where the Niagara River empties into Lake Ontario),  Toronto is only about 30 miles away.  I have seen the CN Tower and Rodgers Centre (Skydome) from there on a clear day.

You can see Niagara Falls from Chestnut Ridge, by the toboggan chutes/casino... AND some dispute it, on a clear day see Rochester off to east, but faint.

No way Toronto across the Lake from Chestnut Ridge (I wanna say "Portage Escarpment)...

I worked at Chestnut ridge for years and never saw Rochester. Would take 5-10 mins every day before I started just admiring the view. The trees block anything in Rochester's direction.

Far right, east... Group of tall buildings on horizon at tree line.   What else can it be?  Nothing else is out there.

Attica

That's way too close.  The buildings are faint, tall and beyond N.Falls.  Tree foliage down.  Clear day.

I know someone seen Milwaukee from the Michigan side at night. That’s 60 miles across!

Door County is Niagara Escarpment.   Same escarpment N.Falls flows over.
