I like Adams, but I don't see him as the best WR in the NFL which is basically what these rankings are saying. He's top 5 imo, but not #1. I guess there are a few names you could just throw into a hat and draw from. Hopkins, Adams, Diggs, Hill, and Jones, but the most complete WR in the NFL to me is Hopkins.

It's just a video game, but here are the rankings for their top 10 WR's:

1. Davante Adams: 99

2. (tie) DeAndre Hopkins: 98

2. (tie) Tyreek Hill: 98

4. Stefon Diggs: 97

5. Julio Jones: 95

6. Michael Thomas: 94

7. Keenan Allen: 93

8. Amari Cooper: 92

9. Mike Evans: 91

10. Allen Robinson: 90

More position groups will be announced each day this week on ESPN:

July 27: Defensive linemen & edge rushers

July 28: Running backs

July 29: Safeties

July 30: Quarterbacks

Keenan Allen and Amari Cooper too high, Mike Evans too low.

But this is 8 of the top 10 I named last week. I had AJ Brown and DK in ahead of Allen and Cooper.

To any madden players out there, If you own Madden 21, just go download one of the fan-created roster updates with the new rookie class added. Save the $60 for wings

People do that.. but I've had every single Madden game of all time

I've tried doing that.. and it does not hold up after long

Say you're playing Madden 19 and Madden 20s out.. the second you play Madden 20 at a friend's house or something, you can never go back to 19

Year by year to the naked eye it doesn't look like much changes.. but if you play the newer one for a while, you literally can't go back to the old one

Just to test it out.. I literally just took out Madden 21 and play a game of 20... Just not the same

Even if on the day Madden 21 came out, you didn't think there was much of a difference.. going back and playing it you could feel the difference

I went back 2 years to Madden 19 and  holy crap can't do it

It is more than roster changes even if it doesn't look like it.. the gameplay changes are so subtle you can't tell until you go back to it after playing a new one...

But I just tried playing an older one and I can't do it after Madden 21.. doesn't feel as good

The  #1 receiver that’s #1 in catches & yards is #4. Checks out. 🧐

He’s not #1 in catches or yards per game. Adams is.

I would still have Diggs above Hill at #3. As others have said Hill is not a complete WR.
Im also not sold on Amari Cooper as a top 10 WR.
And last of all, DK Metcalf was a top 5 WR last year. I’m stunned he is not in their top 10.

That’s not true. Diggs led the NFL w/ 147 receptions. And being the receiving yards leader naturally he also leads in yards per game.

Davante Adams didn't play 16 games

His yards per game was higher than diggs

So should Beasley's passing accuracy be higher than Allens, because he's 100% for a TD last year (in games that he threw a football)?

It's not my angle. It's NFL statistics

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AdamDa01.htm

98.1 yards per game

Diggs - 95.9

It's an NFL statistic not my angle. I never Said I'd rather have Adam's

Joined a team without an offseason.  Still led league in catches and yards.  I think Diggs has an even better year this year.

Tyreek getting a 98 is actually surprising to me.  He has blazing speed and amazing quickness but for whatever reason I don't view him as a "complete" receiver.  Probably sounds weird to say that but I would take Diggs, Hopkins and Adams over Hill as complete receivers who can do it all.

Yeah, he's all speed and agility. Not very good technically. Personally, I think Allen Robinson got the most disrespect on that list. Not his fault he plays for Chicago.

Prepare for Allen to be like 7th or something.

I’ll make my uninformed guesses

1) Brady

2) Mahomes

3) Rodgers

4) Lamar

5) Wilson

6) Dak

7) Allen

He’ll probably be ranked around 15th overall and his accuracy will be like 77.

Wouldn’t doubt it, but in terms of what it SHOULD BE:

1) Maholmes

2)Watson

3)Allen

4)Rodgers

5)Wilson

6)Brady

Thats purely on what they can bring to the table in terms of ability, it’s arguable that Allen should be the #2, but Watson has everything and a redonkuless completion percentage, also he seems more assertive in the massage parlor, so he might get the extra points tacked on.

In terms of, “pure ability”, which is what Madden ratings SHOULD be, you can’t argue with any of the top 3 young guns.
