As I read the post, he's been dabbling at it part time for a while, now intends to devote full time to it. Has been trying it out for five months according to his posting. Wait until Sullivan starts giving Gleason grief over the quality of refreshments provided at open houses. Although I have no fight with Bucky Gleason in particular, nor do I partake in the Buffalo News hate of this board, I do agree that realtors are some of the lowest scum on the Earth, and only in America would such a system even be allowed to exist, with the same realtor often having an allegiance to both sides of the same transaction. No conflict of interest there, right? I'm not entirely sure why the world needs real estate agents, anymore than it needs car salesmen. Seems like if you made these people get real jobs, products out in the marketplace could be a lot cheaper and purchasing transactions would actually be a lot smoother/easier/nicer.
