Yep.

And the league investigated it.

Brady isn’t Hughes and JH isn’t associated with multiple cheating for competitive edge scandal.

Yea but this is shades of catching him going 4 over the speed limit or slow rolling a stop sign and screaming he needs harsh punishment as a repeat offender.

hell, it’s like him being a passenger in that car as he doesn’t issue injury reports for the bucs.

For any player who has not been caught multiple times cheating this should be at worst a $25k fine kind of deal. The only reason is might be more is his history of cheating and the fact that the casinos are very possibly really pissed. NFL I think is pretty open about their relationship with gambling so it might be a one game suspension

Classic movie!

You know Brady my grandmother did that to me once, once!

I couldn’t help myself.  Thought you’d get a chuckle Trout.  Sad thing is after posting I thought it would be funny to watch it again as I haven’t seen this movie in thirty years. I couldn’t find it anywhere on a bunch of apps.

There's a rule against this? I'm honestly curious.

I'm pretty sure the Bills downplayed some injuries, too. This happens every year.

What if he's not injured but said he was so he comes off like Superman?

An underrated classic. "And I'm the pope. Hey, it is the pope!"

Well i guess this is proof that you can play at a high level with that type of injury so what's the big deal about reporting it i don't understand why that should make a difference no one could tell he had it apparently so what's the big deal ?

Yeah really. I guess it wasn't too bad of an injury at all then

Jerry Hughes got a slap on the wrist for this the year we lost to HOU I believe

Hughes was on the injury report for the wrist multiple weeks.

The question was whether the Bills mis-reported him as having a veteran rest day when he was actually not practicing due to the wrist

The conclusion was no, he was actually having a veteran rest day and would have practiced otherwise.

It's the Bills, not Hughes, that were under scrutiny since it's the club's responsibility to report injuries.

It's the club's responsibility to report injuries, not the players.    They are the ones who face fines or sanctions.

If Brady concealed the injury from the club, that's between him and them.

And, yet again Tommy Terrific flaunts the NFL injury reporting requirements for the whole season.
Clearly, the Bucs should pay a stiff penalty for this but my guess is it will be a slap on the wrist.
Brady got his Lombardy. The NFL got their ratings and story line. “Nothing to see here.”

What if it was reported (by the team, players aren’t responsible for putting out that list) every week?

What changes?

One of the national talk shows indicated that another reason for him not reporting it was that the area of the injury might be targeted by pass rushers.  Gregggg Williams used to let his pass rushers know the injuries of the players on the opposing offense, so I would expect that had something to do with it.

1. Brady never saw a league rule he felt he needed to follow. I can't wait until he's retired, and our great national nightmare is over.

2. The reporting of player injuries is a service by the NFL to the gambling world (even before gambling was encouraged!). Vegas needs to know the details, so they can adjust the point spreads accordingly. And degenerate gamblers, present company excluded, need the same to determine how much of their kid's college fund gets bet every week.

that’s pretty much 100% the reason. It’s not like he was trying to get defenses to respect his threat to scramble. He didn’t want dudes hitting low or giving it extra attention in piles.
