And the left doesn't want them here because you can't condemn communism in Cuba while advocating it here. That's why all the woke social justice human rights advocates have gone underground and are maintaining radio silence on the subject. Its a contradiction they won't face. My idea, all the American socialists/communists wanting communism can swap places with a Cuban citizen wishing to live here. A win-win for everyone. Or when you can vote, then once in power you change all the rules based around voting ensuring you can stay in power. Venezuela is that way for sure. Authoritarianism is terrible. Telling people what they should think and say. Blocking any dissenting points of view. These are scary things. We could allow people to flee Cuba to USA, we could use the Navy to protect them on their way. We could even ferry people to the USA. Give them a way to escape. For the most part those folks are just economic migrants, not fleeing oppression. El Salvadorians have a gripe, but when they get to Mexico international law dictates that they apply for refugee status there instead of crossing through that country and walking across the boarder of the US only to be shipped inland and never heard from again.
