If these people are given 5he vote, their natural rights, you think they would dismantle 5h3 socialist health care system? No. No more than  Trump voters would give up socialist Medicare

And Trump won the election too.

This is a common misconception.  Medicare is not socialist.  Its is a one payer system for people over the age of 65.  Part A, B, C, and D.  Under a socialist system providers would work for the government.  They do not work for the government in the US healthcare system model.  Unlike national health care models in other countries.

They are private practices or groups that service patients from other payers, commercial, Medicaid, private payer as well as accepting Medicare patients.  Government Medicare generally covers 80% of charges and some people over 65 choose to pay for Medicare Advantage coverage out-of-pocket to cover their 20% patient responsibility amount.  Some income qualifications may allow people over 65 to be covered by various State sponsored supplemental insurance.  By definition if it was socialist it would be "free".

So quick question... has it been going bankrupt, and/or un sustainable?

Going bankrupt?  Technically the Federal government can not go bankrupt.  Unsustainable?  Probably.  But they can just keep creating more money and devalue the dollar to death along with all our living standards.  And they've been doing that for decades.  The Federal government is in about a $28T ditch and counting.  With annual budget deficits over $1T sure to be more this fiscal year and next.  Currently taxes account for around 20% of the budget and the 80% is borrowed.  That's why its so hilarious when they talk about raising taxes to fund programs.  Making the rich pay their "fair share".  It all sounds so good.

If taxes funded everything we'd need to cut Federal spending by 3/4's.  What Senator or Congress person is going to support that from either party?  Add in a dozen or so States with unfunded pension funds to the tune of $100's of billions and the whole thing is a house of cards.  The thing keeping the game going is the special status of the US dollar in the global financial system. When that shoe drops the shows over.

American media is total propaganda on Cuba...they simply refuse to say Cubans are protesting their Communist dictatorship- even when there are signs everywhere in the streets...Dems are also drawing their line in the sand, and it’s not very encouraging...

Where have you gone, John F. Kennedy...

There seems to be a “blackout” of the word communism.

Maybe they just gave people enough intellectual credit to realize that the Cuban government that they are protesting is Communist....clearly they were mistaken.

Several of the links Warcodered posted didn’t mention the C word.

Okay, gotcha. Definitely worth crying "wolf" about. We know how this goes.

It needs to be spelled out. Maybe they need someone to yell it at them from a podium. That seems to get results.

I just think it’s quite interesting that the media fails to mention the main reason they are protesting.   The Times, in its headline blames hunger not the cause of that hunger.

Maybe they could go out there way, make it the title of the article or something.

Between yesterday and today, the focus is headlines. The right trigger words need to be in the headlines because no one's going to read the actual articles anyway.

We're just getting dumber as a society and it's depressing.

That one doesn't count. We still need to rage over it.
