My argument has always been very simple: the state government should not make it a crime to stock books that do not fit an ideological narrative. As you pointed out, existing delinquency and child endangerment laws already cover the scenario you seem obsessed with. Which would seem to make the Florida law redundant or moot if that was its actual purpose. Would you support a law making it a crime to stock books in a school library that do not fit the most socialist lefty pinko commie narrative? Many kids are not ready for the stories of the bible and how brutal life used to be. They are very expensive to purchase, store and maintain.
