The person most responsible for stopping the Jets offense last year was GM Joe Douglas. Bleeding Bills Blue Posted July 1, 2021 Share Posted July 1, 2021 I think Gase is probably an OK offensive coordinator. Nothing super unique to his offense. Not a great run game coordinator. But I think between the ears he knows football, its more of an issue with coaching style and lack of leadership. It'll take a year or two, but I suspect he just ends up in college where former NFL coaches tend to have success (largely due to having a name that helps with recruiting).
