Their two edge rushers are 31 and 32 as are their two starting corners. Their oline is a bunch of older cut price vets on 3rd teams and an average left tackle. They just invested a ton of draft capital in Trey Lance and it'll probably be at least one season before he starts playing. Is he the next Josh Allen? Or will he be a bust? Not surprisingly 6 of the 7 teams on this list have early 1st round QBs on rookie contracts. It'll remain to be seen how these teams do once they give their QB a mega contract. Will the Ravens even give Jackson a contract? If he can't improve his throwing game a huge contract would be an albatross Murray is what he is - a 2020's version of Doug Flutie. Fun to watch but limited, devoid of leadership skills, and highly unlikely to win anything of consequence in my opinion. I agree that the 49ers do not deserve their hype. Josh is a stud and there are a lot of good young players on the roster but it mostly comes down to cab the past 3 draft classes take the steps needed to take over for vets in the coming years. Teams going for these athletic freak QBs from small schools are going to bust way more often than not. Trey Lance is a very interesting prospect. And if Tua doesn't develop then the fins are right back to the drawing board. This league will be run by the Chiefs, Bills and Niners for years to come. Jackson will get paid as long as he can run, and I think Harbaugh believes they can put enough around him to overcome the passing game limitations. McD and Beane are both in their early 40s and just getting started. Reid is likely on the tail-end of his career.
