The media also ignores, likely because the median age of its "reporters" is 22, that the insidious monkeypox was found in a lab, and AIDS, and nearly every single respiratory virus pandemic since the 1950s has not been conclusively traced to a natural ignition point. MERS? Nope. SARS? Don't know. It's always "we don't know" or "we don't know how that virus jumped from chimpanzees, etc. Yet, COVID *must* be from nature. It must, *****! However, when talking about the flu and the vaccine it is indeed important for elderly and immunocompromised to get vaccinated, because natural infection and the stronger immune response it generates against currently curculating strains won't help you if you're dead. Covid19 is also a respiratory virus that mutates and escapes immunity rapidly. Therefore any virolgist , immunologist or infectious disease MD could have told you when the vaccines were rolled out in December 2020 that if the same formulation was going to be in place over a year later, then the vaccine would not be expected to provide much protection against infection.
