This is what I would do if I was the GM. I have hit the Bills picks 3 or 4 times over the 15 years I have been doing this.

 

 30 Jayson Oweh DE

61 Paulson Adebo CB

TRADE! BUF trades 93 +2022 4th for pick 79

79 Andre Cisco S

TRADE! BUF trades 161 + 174+ 213 for pick 129

129 Ben Cleveland OG

 

236 Jacob Harris TE

This draft would be a slam dunk imo. Adebo and Cisco would both be 1st round picks if Adebo played and Cisco stayed healthy. Oweh would probably be a top 15 pick in a normal year. Bills get extremely lucky and add 3 starters to their defence. This draft get us past the Chiefs.

What sort of playing time do you think he will have?

If we draft another bust from Penn State, someone has to be punished. I would like to stay away from DE unless Phillips drops to us. I’m getting sick to my stomach just thinking about it.

 

Some of you guys are real glutens for punishment.

that would be a very good draft. I think you have a pretty good chance of guessing the picks too.

Maybins tape wasn’t good in college. They are nothing alike. Most people thought Maybin was going to be a bust right after the draft.

I'm less sure that Oweh even makes it to the Bills. Ravens or Steelers might take him first. With a poor edge rusher class, players like him get drafted higher than people think. For similar reasons I think DT Levi Onwuzurike gets picked in the 1st round despite most mocks putting him in the 2nd. Everyday I'm more certain that CB will be the best value available at pick 30.

 It really looks like Adebo might be our guy in rd 2.  After watching more and more of his tape, I’d be ok with him there.  I have a 3rd rd grade on him but we’re almost picking in rd 3.  I think McD can work wonders with him.  Gabe Davis really worked him over 2 yeees ago, but I trust MCD can get him right.
 

I’ve had nightmares about oweh, and I agree, he’s probably the guy @ 30.  It’ll be nice to have another athlete with elite traits that we can watch, hopefully grow into our Josh Allen on D.  If he can figure it out, watch out.  Just like Josh, he’s not my first choice but I can get why he’s the choice.  Immense upside. I’m to the point where I can get behind it enough to not be angry when it happens 

 

I love Cisco but I’d rather add a playmaker on O with one of our 1st 3 picks.  We need a home run hitter or two.  True story. 
 

would love cleveland at that spot, but I think he’ll be gone by then.  Harris, hell yeah.  That’s the kind of guy I want with our last pick.

I dont like Oweh at all... need someone with more productivity to be a 1st round selection. If we draft a pass rusher i hope it's one of the 2 Miami guys. If not best CB available or Harris/Etienne should be the selection.

I know Landon had an ACL tear, but I think it's optimistic he falls to 61. Dude's a beast.

I don't love Oweh as our first pick. I don't disagree with @billspro over his ceiling being a top 10 edge rusher inside 2 years but I think the floor is a guy who is out of the league before the end of his rookie deal. 

 

I am an Adebo fan and while I don't love Cisco I don't hate the value there in round 3.

I heard that Adebo is "cut too high".  That his long legs make it difficult to make quick changes and "flip his hips".   

 

I have never seen him play.

I see no more than 35 - 40% of the defensive snaps. Once Addison retires (2022), bump that into the 50 - 55% range.

I've seen rumblings that the medical checks on him haven't looked good. I'm not 100% confident he makes it that far but if he does I think the Bills would love him.
