In his presser, Beane said he got his clearance and he's actually at One Bills Drive working out, said he's got a couple more checks to clear but they expect him to be full-go

He looks so awkward, but he gets it done

I'm not much of a college football fan - are college completed catch rules different than pros?

Boston College like Iowa is just of those places that grows Tight Ends on trees

I don't see the relevance of Keyontae Johnson to this case.

Because a dis: "Florida athletes who have been infected must complete a cardiac evaluation that includes an electrocardiogram, an echocardiogram and a blood test that can reveal evidence of cardiac problems before being cleared to play, according to SEC protocols."  Johnson went through these protocols and still basically had a heart attack on the court.

"Florida also administers heart screenings to all incoming athletes and re-checks athletes’ hearts heading into their third and fifth years. Johnson was entering his third season, so he would have had a heart ultrasound (echocardiogram) and heart tracing (EKG) before he arrived on campus this summer and again after testing positive for COVID-19."

You don't give the link, but if it's this

which contains your quote word for word as the last paragraph, you seem to have omitted this relevant section:

Florida forward Keyontae Johnson’s collapse during a game nearly two months ago was not related to a positive COVID-19 test, his family said Wednesday.

University of Florida Health physicians consulted with other local and national experts who reviewed the relevant imaging and testing related to this case, and Johnson’s family said: “The unanimous conclusion of all experts is that Keyontae’s medical emergency was not related to or a result of a previous or current Covid diagnosis.”

The family did not say what doctors believe caused Johnson to crumple to the court at Florida State on Dec. 12.

The consultation team included physicians from the Cardiac and Vascular Institute of Gainesville, University of Washington Center for Sports Cardiology, Massachusetts General Hospital at Harvard University, Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Yale University School of Medicine.

“We continue to be committed to sharing any information that could be helpful to others,” the family said. “Our hope is that the experts’ conclusion that this instance is not Covid-related will bring some peace of mind.”

If Keyontae Johnson had a panel of cardiac experts conclude that his collapse was not covid-related, and if he was properly screened (and cleared) from having myocarditis before he returned to play, I don't see why his case relates to whether Tommy Sweeney should play again after developing, and apparently recovering from, covid-related Myocarditis

Sweeney had a knack for find soft spots in coverage even though he isn't very fast. He also produced pretty well as a blocker, though not as well as Lee Smith. The fact that he can both block and catch makes him pretty valuable. Whenever Lee Smith was on the field there was no disguising a run was coming. With Tom Sweeney on the field, that is not a problem. I'm glad he's back.

Except that was not true.  Lee Smith picked up a number of pass blockers including a number from AFC West which he was familiar with from playing for Raiders.

On accuracy scale you scored the same as Lee Smith's penalties last year, a zero.

True, Lee blocked many times in pass protection on 3rd and long. Duh! On 1st down, though? The point was, Lee was not very versatile. You always knew what he was going to do. Block.

you are quite ferocious i like it. also then the family coming out months later saying it wasnt covid related is a little strange especially after this inital report https://www.sportingnews.com/us/ncaa-basketball/news/florida-keyontae-johnson-diagnosed-acute-myocarditis/ff3m5rkguqi0zatxfrnxle1j   which was printed when he got released from the hospital after he was there for weeks in a partial coma at that point fighting for his life, after he fell down on the court.  might have something with dudes career.
