Why, they couldn’t even beat Chad Henne

They had the winning touchdown in hand when they fumbled out of the end zone.

I'm not disputing that. This current Browns team isn't what I'm talking about, though.

I'm talking pre Andrew Berry. Pre John Dorsey. Talking about the Sashi Brown "Moneyball" days.

gotcha. Was wondering why you'd be talking about  Mayfield, Chubb, Garrett...

You do know that Baker Mayfield is their QB, right?

I saw this on the Jets' message board today posted there by someone named Falco21.  Thought it was pretty eye opening.

At this point the Jets are projected to have $73 million in 2022 cap space.   https://overthecap.com/calculator/new-york-jets/

Let's hope that Joe Douglas is a horrible talent evaluator...    😳

Doesn't matter how many bullets you have if u can't hit your target. Miami is the one I'm worried about. The Jets are the Jets

How they didn’t win once he went out is beyond me

they fumbled out of the endzone at the goal line, else they likely win.

The fumble was in the 1st half... They had plenty of chances to win after that ffs they had over a quarter of Chad henne who had not played in like 3 years. the browns had an opportunity to drive for the winning TD and couldn’t get it done - they punted with 4 min to go! Coupled with a complete defensive crapfest to get beat by Chad henne...

Just like MIA and Buffalo.

Buffalo executed.

now can MIA and NYJ. If not they will be doing this again pretty soon. All starts with a QB.

Yep they got plenty of picks to try and find a guy to get them "fully pregnant".

Knowing the Jets though, they will probably selected a guy who has mono and a vasectomy!

You paint quite the picture my friend.

I bet if the Bills traded Josh, Diggs, & Tre that they could do better than that.

They didn't get beat by Chad Henne, KC was up 9 and in FG range when Henne came in, up 12 after that drive.  The fact that Cleveland could score enough is no reflection on how Henne played or how cleveland defended against him.  Henne got the save, not the win.

Baker has been somewhat disappointing to this point, wouldn't you agree?

I thought he had a decent rookie season, not so much in his 2nd and looked pretty darn good last season, especially down the stretch. I really don't get all the Mayfield hate, especially after how sensitive Bills fans are about any criticism Allen took prior to this season.
