oh great. Given the instagram posts, can’t wait to see what this guy says with cameras and a mic in front of him.

Serious question:

When a lawsuit is filed, can one party's lawyers file some sort of gag order to prevent the other party's lawyers from dragging their client's name through the mud or trying the case in the "court of public opinion"?

No idea how it works in Texas but probably not at this stage no.

The thing I don’t get with him & Kraft: if you are a mega-millionaire in search of a hook-up, why are you going to massage parlors instead of high-end pornstar escorts (complete with confidentiality agreements)?

Maybe paying for cheap sex is the turn-on?

I got nothin'.  I would think high-end "professional services" (unsure why a pornstar would be desireable) with a confidentiality agreement would make far more sense.

my guess would be even with a confidentiality, a pro athlete with that kind of money and image to protect is probably more wary of soliciting that type of thing and leaving an electronic trail than something like a massage.

In all seriousness, the reasons why sexual assault and rape often go unreported to law enforcement are prolly beyond the scope of football relevant discussion.  Can we just take it as written that they exist?

That conclusion does not follow:

First, it doesn't follow from anything I've said

Second, it is illogical and unfounded to conclude that stuff I've said on this board ever represents the total of my feelings on any topic, and especially on the topic of sexual assault where the board's prohibition on general political discussion particularly constrains me, as a mod

If you want to know how I think on the topic, try the mundane solution: ask me.  Oooooh, too easy!

You can keep your apology.  I refrain from suggesting locations.

Post deleted. Sorry for the misinterpretation.

Just an aside - i love how 20+ of you flow in to this thread and basically have the same joke about this and think you’re clever. Hopefully a purge is coming SDS.

Jeez. I'm probably one if them. Does it realy bother you that much? I went back and deleted mine.

No not at all - it’s less “bother” more “boredom” because it’s the same joke over and over.

The stories seem consistent with a pattern of behaviour. Even if first impressions are that the lawyer involved is a bit of a publicity seeker himself it doesn't look good for Watson. Inclined to believe there is some fire with this smoke.

Yeah, if its up to 9....not looking good.
