so with four women stepping forward, you still believe Watson? Good on you sir.

On a different note what does Watson have to do to show he is not guilty? Since you don't believe him without seeing any evidence from the accuser?

I didn’t say I don’t believe Watson.  Wasn’t at all what I stated. I just said it looks worse for him with complaints piling up against him.

The thing I don’t get with him & Kraft: if you are a mega-millionaire in search of a hook-up, why are you going to massage parlors instead of high-end pornstar escorts (complete with confidentiality agreements)?

Maybe paying for cheap sex is the turn-on?

Shocked! Deshaun Watson doesn’t look good in these accusations.... I think we should all believe all women And their accusations... Victims need a voice and need to be heard ....

I'll withhold judgment until I hear what Alyssa Milano has to say. She's the expert on this type of thing.

What you wrote originally was

"so with four women stepping forward, you still believe Watson? Good on you" and then you went back and edited it to something different. You still are the kind of person that lawyer loves, someone who sees a number of accusers as being important without presenting any evidence.

So, the one downfall of closing the original thread is that we lost out on this great post by @Bill from NYC

Quote

We also all know that allegations of sexual abuse from women are true more often than not. Taking it a step further, women often fail to report sexual harassment, abuse, and even rape.

Rich, powerful people sometimes think that they can get away with this, and they are often correct. Anyone can click on any news site or open most newspapers and see exactly what I am talking about.

That said, I believe in the American legal process. Every accused person is entitled to his or her day in court and full due process. Also, as Bill Kuntsler personally told me, every American citizen is entitled to the best legal defense they can possibly get. His words. This is why he took some cases pro bono. He defended some animalistic killers, but he represented his clients. That was his job.

I don't declare Watson to be guilty. He might be innocent but I can't understand how or why one woud summarily dismiss the allegation of this woman because of "timing."  I guess I have seen too many victims to do this HBF.

Even though I'm in the camp that finds this whole thing sketchy, due to the situation Watson is in vs McNair, and McNair's relationship with this lawyer, and the scumminess that this windbag lawyer exudes with every social media post he types, and the fact that Watson has never had issues before, and the circumstances of all of these allegations are conveniently he said/she said....

I agree with Bill. We must take the accuser seriously. AND trust the legal process to sort out the truth.

Hmm so Buzbee doesn’t want to try these cases in the press but is basically updating his instagram in real time with information about these cases (and he’s pointing out all the “death threats” he’s getting.)

Oh and he’s “never been a Texans fan” but he paid for billboards in Houston imploring Bob McNair to draft Johnny Manziel. Okay.

And for a lawyer, he uses the phrase "while at the same time they could care less who the mayor or president will be!"

Anyone with half a brain, making public statements, would get it right.

Me thinks this might be a lot of what's going on with him and the team.  Something is going on.

He probably should have settled when he has the chance the way this is trending.

Well Charlie Sheen screwed around with high end hookers and porn stars and look where that got him. Most celebrities think they can get anyone cause of their fame and fortune, so when someone rejects them it hurts them ego/pride wise. This is turning out to be a giant ***** show in Houston

that’s misleading and Allbright is reading it wrong.

Nope pled the money amount 500 bones. Courts could always award more than that if they decide. But the court could also just award the $500

Considering it's a civil suit, what else is it about? Ruining his name and reputation? Seems even more fishy.

it’s most definitely about money. The plaintiffs (at least the 1st one) aren’t seeking “$500” - they are suing for exemplary (punitive) damages as well, which are uncapped and could be any ungodly amount of money.

If Allbright wants to cover this story, he really should read the complaint and not just parrot whatever this crazy lawyer is throwing up on instagram.
