Shaquill Griffin, Chris Carson & Kyle Van Noy

Recommended Posts

Wish list:

Would love to see Chris Carson in the backfield!  Shaquill is a solid corner, and Van Noy always made plays against Buffalo when he was with the Pats.  Plus with the Pats being 4 deep at the TE position we need another solid LB.

Sign Isiah McKenzie not only does he have potential as a slot WR, he also takes care of the return game!

we’re done building our roster to stop the pats.

why do we need another solid LB when we never ever play 4 LBs at the same time?

lol where do people think we will get all this money to pay these guys?  Beane isn’t just going to restructure players to move money into future years and handcuff himself with the cap a couple years down the road.  They got Allen and Diggs to worry about.

You do realize we were 13-3 last year? We're the hunted.....Pats are the hunters...we don't need to change a thing.

He should be restructuring deals if he wants to win this season. Every team.....literally every contending team is doing it.  If we don’t, we’re just wasting Josh’s rookie contract advantage.  You’re in it to win it.....or you’re not.  Restructuring contracts and kicking the cap implications IS part of being a champion.  Every team that wins Super Bowls does this.  If we don’t, we probably won’t win one

Unless they're accepting pennies they wont be coming to Buffalo.

We can restructure players tomorrow and create like 30m in space

Always trying to improve.  I get it we were 13-3, but not good enough to make it to the Super Bowl, nor win it.

You still lost in the playoffs. Your still a couple layers away from SB Champions.  Mind you I suspect KC will win it all this year signing Thuney was a brilliant move on their part.

If we do all those restructures to free up 30m it'll be to sign Allen to an extension.  This roster doesn't need a ton of work.  We can go into the draft, get some guys and fill the rest of the roster with some vets on cheap contracts after the draft.  Let the smoke clear....we don't need to sign guys just to sign them.

He’s not saying that we don’t need changes.  He’s saying that we aren’t building our team to stop the pats.  We aren’t going to sign a FOURTH linebacker because the pats have 4 tight ends.  That was his point

Add in the fact that Hughes, Addison, Butler and Star all potentially come off the books soon.

Again....that’s not his point.  We aren’t building a team to beat the pats...:.that’s his point

Allen is still on rookie deal. His cap hit this year won’t change.

Again....his point was......we aren’t constructing a team to beat the pats.  The pats are constructing a team to beat the Bills.  You’re taking it out of context.

Except I don’t think that BB is doing that. He is constructing a team that can beat KC.  Just so happens if they can beat KC they should be able to beat Buffalo.  The key cog is QB.

I don't know why they're struggling with this.  Why would a 13-3 team change up their roster/philosophy to compete with a 7-9 team that they swept the previous year?
