JaCrispy
Now that we really can’t spend big on FA’s anymore, we should really start getting in on this- Beane should try to only sign guys who have been released imo... Doc
Yup, no surprise considering it was for Brady. Maybe they can use it to get a QB...

I would rather have a good player who will contribute this year than a late 3rd round pick in next years draft. I know it may be controversial but if that stops them from signing someone I would be shocked.

All a comp pick does is reward you with an end-of-3rd rounder at best for losing one of your best players.

Brady was a comp pick himself! (As were Brian Dawkins, Hines Ward, Marques Colston, and La'Roi Glover, fwiw).

H2o
It's cool, they sucked at drafting for the last 5 years anyway.
BringBackFergy
Bellichick is such a genius he let his best player walk and gets a 3rd rounder. #5DChess 2

C.Biscuit97
The Pats Front office one of the most overrated groups in the history of sports. The only reason they were successful is they had Brady; didn’t sign him to a max deal; and then told FAs they could win a SB with Brady.
