This is the American way of life:

Tweet something dumb in high school.

Go on to be rising star and have incredible success based on own accolades.

Have the issue raised about the dumb insensitive tweet, but see it to be dismissed by prospective employer.

Then have woke culture event in mainstream mead is occur.

Then lose job for that thing from that sane prospective employer.

Very surprised that there are few mentions of the affect on the American Way of Life if the military. Vertually every person born pre 55 was in the forces except a few, and even today the forces support a huge part if the population. The effect on availability of weapons, the love of guns, PTSD, employment with contractors, employment on bases, etc etc. Has any other organization had bigger effect?

I’m against the culture war alt left sheep leaches continue to instigate. Any ‘capitalist’ decision you are feigning  reference to came as a direct result of the woke deciding to start tearing down society. Capitalism? US isnt even a top 5 capitalist economy anymore and won’t be top 10 at this rate in 2 years.

Mea culpa- You are exactly right. This was about free publicity because they are failing and needed some free marketing...

Fake woke-italism is a business decision.

Then it turns out the accuser was equally stupid.

The world really does behave more like a conspiracy theory than  we could ever hope.

Right here:

No kidding.  At first (and incomplete) glance shooter seems to have checked all of the "loser" boxes: hoaxes, porn, and clinging to his guns as a measure of self worth.

EDIT:  I may have conflated the "hoaxes" and "porn" things with the Atlanta shooting spree.  Too many shooting sprees this week to keep them straight.

As for the American Way of Life I find it curious the left speaks frequently about threats to "democracy" when it suits their purposes.  Democracy they say, we must protect it from those looking to threaten it.  But they never express concerns or speak of threats to our "freedoms" and "individual liberties".  Why is that?  After all, those are the core beliefs that laid the foundation for our nation almost 250 years ago.  The foundation of the republic, our legal system, the core principals expressed by various Amendments and law, the limitations placed on Government, the great documents that define it, the Declaration of independence, the Constitution, Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, and many others all speak to  liberty and freedom.  The undeniable rights of men and women.

But the left?  Never.  A basic defect in their thinking is their view of democracy.  Simply, the ability of the "majority" to dictate to the minority any and all things without regards for their rights and needs through whatever means are necessarily.  That's not democracy that's tyranny.

Our new normal............

Baltimore will no longer prosecute drug possession, prostitution and other low-level offenses

CNN, by Juliana Battaglia

https://www.cnn.com/2021/03/27/us/baltimore-prosecute-prostitution-drug-possession/index.html

Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby says the city will no longer prosecute for prostitution, drug possession and other low-level offenses. Mosby made the announcement on Friday following her office's one-year experiment in not prosecuting minor offenses to decrease the spread of Covid-19 behind bars. "Today, America's war on drug users is over in the city of Baltimore. We leave behind the era of tough-on-crime prosecution and zero tolerance policing and no longer default to the status quo to criminalize mostly people of color for addiction, said Mosby in an official press release. The experiment, known as The Covid Criminal Justice Policies

...and the right thinks their religion of the minority should lead to legislation favoring them, because we're a "Christian nation".  I find it hilarious that your "basic defect" is EXACTLY what the majority whites did to the minority groups for 99% of this countries existence.  LOLZ!

Dean Alfange, a progressive and labor activist, wrote the following 163 words as first published in Reader’s Digest in 1952:

“I do not choose to be a common man. It is my right to be uncommon. I seek to develop whatever talents God gave me—not security. I do not wish to be a kept citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state look after me. I want to take the calculated risk; to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed. I refuse to barter incentive for a dole. I prefer the challenges of life to the guaranteed existence; the thrill of fulfillment to the stale calm of utopia. I will not trade freedom for beneficence nor my dignity for a handout. I will never cower before any earthly master nor bend to any threat. It is my heritage to stand erect, proud and unafraid; to think and act myself, enjoy the benefit of my creations and to face the world boldly and say – ‘This, with God’s help, I have done.’ All this is what it means to be an American.”

Apparently the American way is to hope Joe doesn't cancel your job, feel shame because you're white

and racist/xenophobic/transphobic... and finally, be a second hand citizen to illegal immigrants, all while

wearing three masks and hiding at home.

This is the problem. The currently popular “ dim view” of America being pushed by the toxic liberal media ( only 3 outlets remain today that aren’t owned by liberal activists and staffed accordingly with activists , not journalists. In their eyes, you have too much , are too racist, and not accepting enough of “ special rights” for protected classes such as LBGTQ, minorities other than Asians( they are too successful and must be kept out of schools) and don’t give enough of your money to the government. You must yield your individual freedom to the “ greater good” and wear a face diaper everywhere you go. You must be punished, cancelled, doxed, and be subjected to offensive “ training” to be “ reprogrammed” because of your unworthiness. It’s literally the Chinese revolution happening right here, in front of our eyes. The American way of life is individualism, with low taxes and little government interference. The belief that most people are inherently good. That Americans are generous , but rules should be followed. Today, a more sinister narrative is being pushed. That we are inherently bad as a people and a Nation. Pushed to reshape America into the land of equal outcomes, not of opportunity. That is for all , except the privileged elite ruling class who will have far more than everyone else. Scary times indeed. What’s that old saying about being a Republic .... IF we can keep it ?

The threat of “ trespassing “ by America citizens ! Whoa how awful ! No one claimed OUR Democracy IS a fraud, but rather that unscrupulous operative operatives ( Democrat’s ) lifted many rules and sent out mass amounts of unverifiable paper ballots to defraud our election. Fascists would make you wear a mask. Republicans would leave it up to the individual.

Amazing so so many people would want to come to such a “ racist “ country. Must not be for the freedom, but the “ free stuff” .

No, they would not.  This sums up where the American way of life is being lost. Great example , B Man.
