  1. 1. Re-sign or wave good-bye?

    • Offer whatever it takes to keep him
    • Make an offer, but if he gets one elsewhere that exceeds the value the team has assessed on him, let him walk
    • Don’t make an offer, thanks for the memories

He’s our 5th receiver, 4th receiver at best if John Brown is gone. Rather draft a player on a cheap rookie deal for 4 years with more upside. Maybe he gets $3M maybe.

Where he falls in the bills does not determine his value.

2) Re-sign Isaiah McKenzie, let Andre Roberts walk

Although the Bills could be working on a budget this offseason, McKenzie is an important piece to attempt to retain. Not only is he Daboll’s offensive chess piece to help identify coverages before the snap and to keep defenses on their toes, but McKenzie would be the top depth option at all three receiver spots. We know he can play slot receiver and Z from the past two seasons, but he also has the speed to play X receiver and to threaten defenses over the top. With how frequently the Bills liked to use four receivers last season, re-signing a player like McKenzie would be justifiable for those reasons alone. However, on top of it, they also have an extreme void at kick and punt returner. McKenzie showed he has potential in that area as well and is still only 25 years old. Re-signing McKenzie would be a potential low-cost contract to project into a bigger role in the future — especially if there’s a chance he could become Beasley’s eventual replacement in as early as two years.

If they were to re-sign McKenzie, that would make bringing Roberts back a bit redundant. Roberts is a return specialist, and the Bills have to do more with fewer free agent dollars this offseason. Prioritizing a multi-use receiver, rather than a one-role only player in his 30s seems like a logical way to go for the Bills.

My morning Conspiracy thread.

Dawkins posted on Instagram several pics of him salsa-dancing his way between workouts, one captioned "Goooooooo goo Gadget!" which seems like it could be a shout-out to Isaiah "Go go Gadget" McKenzie.

Made me wonder if he got some news like the Bills re-up'd McKenzie?

Alternatively could just be Dion being goofy

I just can’t get on board drafting a WR that high with the WR depth in this class. It’s even deeper than last year.

I'm just thinking that if you can get a Tyreek Hill type player at 30 would you do it? This guy can impact a game at receiver/return game. That is what you want as your 1st round pick, a game changer. If my man Zaven Collins is there at 30, then we'd have a debate. Honestly, I don't think Toney is gonna be there at 30.

Keep him. He really won't cost much. It'd only be marginally more if it ends up higher than what "Bills value him" at.

The way the poll is phrased I'm curious if the vast majority of votes goes to the middle option for anybody.

I really want to give him a real shot at some targets.

Go with Diggs, Beasley, Davis, Mckenzie. Draft a mid-late round WR to add to Hodgins.

I think they'd make different decisions if given the chance.

He also plays the role of Kyler Murray, Lamar Jackson etc. when you prepare for those types of players. Who then fills that role? I am not for filling that role with the 30th pick. We will need that pick for a RT because Williams will get big $ as the best RT available.

And that great point is what worries me. Why didn't he play more in the playoffs with everyone else nursing injuries? Is this another Yeldon situation where they like Isaiah but not enough to give him more snaps/ touches? I think he'd be the perfect cost effective replacement for Brown & Roberts. But what do I know?
