It was his time as a Bill that put him over the top.  😁

I am thinking he is going in  due to his coaching , obviously, was every bit the journeyman QB in Buffalo and throughout his career..and as everyone knows , was part of the worst trade ever made in Buffalo sports history.. (until the Sabres trading Ryan O'reilly )

Why did it take a 2 time winning super bowl coach that long to make it in? I know nothing about Flores but that seems really strange.

He was as classy of a guy that ever coached the game and his offenses were fun to watch. He resurrected Jim Plunkett's career and the Raider were a force during his time as HC. He deserved to be in the HOF long before, at least IMO.

I wonder with the social justice thing going on if the committee felt obligated to put him in since he is of Hispanic descent. Either way, Flores belongs.

Flores came to the Bills at an inopportune time; their best playmakers from the championship years had aged past their prime. I think the Bills won four games in '67, and one game in '68. He's a good guy, and I'm happy for him achieving this honor.

Absolutely!

Great coach and very deserving of HOF.

That the Lamonica trade turned out to be an historically bad trade for the Bills is well known.  A little side note.   As a kid, like many Bills fans, I was a fan of the backup QB who happened to be Daryle Lamonica at the time and I was not happy about seeing him shipped out.   To add insult to injury (pun intended), I remember that Flores arrived in Buffalo with double vision!   I kid you not.  Not exactly a characteristic you want to see in your new quarterback.  That always stuck with me and I really don't remember much about him as a Bill after that shaky introduction.

Maybe Tasker can be seen smoking cigars and drinking Coors Light next season 😏

He won't get voted in next year. I could see a scenario 10 or 15 years from now where they vote him in as a senior candidate. If they want to recognize the beginning of the special teams specialist role in the NFL, they could vote him in as the first and one of the best.

Don Coryell us now the most deserving guy not in the HOF

Mostly because he was following the huge personality that was John Madden. with the Raiders. He was a damn good coach, but George Seifert following Bill Walsh is in a similar position.

Good point. Seifert has a better record but only one title. I'd argue Flores did it with less talent and without a HOF QB. He should have been inducted with two wins before Levy with four losses.

Now that Flores is in, the next tragedy that needs to be rectified is Coryell.
