That said, I believe he’s best suited as a 4th corner if we’re a super bowl or bust team. I would also like to see Dane Jackson compete for the CB2 position. Wallace is not spectacular, but he's gotten better. So continuing that platoon strategy with Jackson would be chill. He started most of the games the last two years and it is at worst quality depth- we paid Norman twice that. At that cost he needs to be on our roster. Which is why I voted for the 2nd round tender. At just another $1million or so, it makes too much sense. Even in this off season, where cap is tight, I could see him getting a better offer than that tender, and for multiple years. In the past, I think we haven't been aggresive enough in protecting guys like Levi, who are UDFA originally.
