Globalism is the future. Protectionism and isolationism harms America. These ideologies are not comparable with the modern world.

Not sure or your point, but there is noting isolationist about exposing the obvious lack of others living up to expressed obligations and causing great weakness in organizations they have agreed to support.

Trump wants NATO destroyed and the UN gutted. That's isolationism.

I don't remember trump pulling out tactical nukes out of EU countries?  our soldiers or bases?

I do remember him pushing them to actually pay their formal percentage of the cost.... you do know that all NATO nations are supposed to pay 2% of GDP to NATO.

See, the orange dude had flaws.

but his take on having NATO nations becoming less addicted to Russian oil/natural gas was ignored/twisted by the media. but was spot on looking back.

Same with NATO strengthening itself by upping nation states funding to it.

Im sure CNN covered that.

its kinda funny how biden has just taken on his narrative about bringing jobs back to this country.  Trump was just doing it through trade deals. biden is more into corporate welfare. like the chips bill or green infrastructure bill.

SOURCE?

Oh, who am I kidding.

The US-China Economic Relationship | US-China Business Council (uschina.org)

The trade war with China hurt the US economy and failed to achieve major policy goals outlined by the Trump administration. Rather than benefiting the economy, it has reduced US economic growth and employment, resulting in an estimated peak loss of 245,000 jobs. Tariff rates remain at a multi-decade high despite both countries reaching a phase one trade agreement in early 2020. While the agreement made important progress on longstanding trade barriers in agriculture, financial services, and intellectual property protection, it failed to address a range of administration concerns over Chinese state-owned enterprise disciplines, distorting subsidies, data and cybersecurity, and other areas of market access. While the trade deficit with China did narrow in 2019, this was offset by an increased trade deficit with the rest of the world, leaving the overall US trade deficit broadly unchanged.

Instead champion a policy of meddling in everybody else's business, everywhere, all the time?  So no to isolationism but yes to imperialism?

What is Putin doing in Ukraine?

Before worrying about that, you should be asking your Congressional representatives what our government is doing with combat troops in places like Syria, Iraq, Somalia, and 600 other military bases around the planet?
