I spent yesterday pouring over stats for both teams(what else are you going to do at work?) ;)

These two teams are so evenly matched its going to come down to a blown coverage a bad read or a ST gaff to swing the pendulum.

Go Bills

that is ironic that it will be 3 championship games against the chiefs.

was only 5 for the first one so no recollection there for me. remember the afcc game back in '93 very well though, "Joe who?".

I'm a numbers man. superstitious in a way about numbers you might say. 27 has always been a good number for me.

all season to me has felt like the stars have been lining up for this bills team, a sense of destiny unfolding before our eyes week to week. one step closer to that final destiny today.

I'm real proud of this team and proud to be a bills fan.

I agree the teams are extraordinarily evenly matched and the game could come down to a single blown coverage, bad read or ST gaffe. But, getting philosophical for a moment, that doesn't mean it could either way. The outcome will be a product of the unique combination of conditions and people at that precise span of time in that precise space. We really can't say, "The Chiefs/Bills should have won if only..." because that's not true, by definition. If you change the reasons for the blown coverage--a mental lapse by a safety, say, are you making him smarter or more attentive for just that one play? And we're not changing WHY he was dumb or inattentive? In other words, hypotheticals or "would've been/could've been" are all B.S. There is only what happened. And that's what's so great about sports, especially on this big stage: We're all getting together to see what happens. Game on!

I don't think I can handle OT.

Agreed. I was sitting deathly still at the end of the Colts game, not moving a muscle and something told me to look at my watch, my heartbeat was 144 bbp!! What the hell?? The minute it was over it was back down to 70.

Today feels like it may reach 160. 😐
