I remember fondly listening on the radio to incredible conversations. Often while driving at night on lonely highways, he was a friend, an entertainer, a pro, an educator and a constant.

I used to listen to his nationally syndicated radio show as well, when he was doing it out of Washington, DC.

I would stay up late and listen until 1 or 2am, whenever it ended...then be tired the next day.

He often had authors on and I enjoyed listening to them the most I think.
