If someone spent just 10 minutes to understand how they work and are used they would have easily dismissed the ridiculous theories being tossed around by Trump's desperate legal teams and propaganda outlets. It is why many of them are now being sued by said machine makers and their desperate retractions will not get them off the libel hook for their role in spreading the stupid around. By the way, Greene is not gossip, trump is not gossip and as long as the mods and SDS allow me to be on this site, I will participate. The US has a great effect on the rest of the world so interest is natural and when the world has just put up with trump's reactionary approach to world trade, climate, pandemic and security interest is high. Your country almost had a coup, that would have destabilized the world, and people like you either took part or sat back for the past year and said nothing. All the world heard were nuts talkng deep state crap, trump encouraging racists, administration firings, impeachment, ignoring 400,000 deaths, etc etc. I may be at the back of the class, but I will participate. Because of the fervor of the Q part of the GOP base and the belief that Democrats are evil, Republicans (both traditional, Trump, and Q) are generally unwilling to compromise. On my side of things, there is a temptation (to which I sometimes succumb) to stick it to the liars and hoaxers and all of the people responsible for the mistruths and chaos of the past four years. Ultimately, though, the best path is compromise. On the COVID-19 bill, for example, Romney has a point. We should be more surgical with respect to relief checks. I agree with Biden, however, that this needs to be a much bigger bill than what Romney wants. Maybe they can come together (Romney et al. have to give more than Biden) and do something constructive.
