Not very exciting but the Bills don't have a ton of holes this year and I tried to find guys that could not only fill a rotational role this year but could compete for starting spots while being developed.

Looking ahead with the trades I made the Bills 2022 draft would look like this...

Buffalo's picks: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th

Aquired from other teams: SF 2nd, SF 3rd, SF 3rd, Philly 3rd, NYJ 4th, Sea 5th, TB 5th, Balt 5th, Atl 7th (Smith trade)

Knowing some of the players are getting a little older and wanting to extend the window I looked toward a ton of draft capital next season - especially with the cap expected to rise back up.   12 picks in the first 5 rounds does that.

Tried it again with a focus on depth to develop and add draft capital.  I'm not looking for anyone to fill a starting spot - which is a good feeling.

OC Alabama

72. Brevin Jordan

TE Miami (FL)

93. Tommy Togiai

DT Ohio State

136. Demetric Felton

WR UCLA

158. Victor Dimukeje

EDGE Duke

170. Camryn Bynum

CB California

174. Jaret Patterson

RB Buffalo

197. Janarius Robinson

EDGE Florida State

After trades in next year's draft

Buffalo's picks 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th

Aquired Houston's 2nd, 3rd and 4th plus Detriot's 4th

I don't get this kind of drafting. Whats the point for the Bills to draft less talent in top 100 and 5 players in rounds 5 and later who have really small chance to make a team? Whats the point in trying to accumulate picks next year? To trade them for later picks again? We have very solid roster overall right now, we want to compete next year, so we should draft 3 best guys we can in first 3 rounds and not trade down for future picks.
