I'm doing an oyster roast for the afternoon games and beef on weck around game time. muppy Posted January 11, 2021 Share Posted January 11, 2021 Beef on weck with the best version of weck rolls I can hoodwink myself since they dont sell them here. I'll use a hardroll and brush an egg wash on the top add caraway seeds and salt and bake for a bit. The beef I will use a thin beef steak here they call milanesa and simmer that until tender in au jus (liptons beefy onion packet water and a sliced onion not traditional but I like it) with creamy horseradish sauce on top. dlonce Posted January 11, 2021 Share Posted January 11, 2021 (edited) We used to do themed eats at our 100 plus person tailgates. We’d hire chefs, bartenders and all that stuff. For Baltimore the main menu item was usually Maryland crab cakes and oysters. My at home menu will be wings and plenty of alcohol.
