Rivers seems to play well against most teams his entire career, so I can’t act like I didn’t expect him to have a good game. That said, he’s been a Bills killer throughout his career. Cowher said our 3 problems were stopping the run, pressuring Rivers, and our own run game. But I thought we stopped the run well against a good running team and the main issue was mid level passing D was abysmal (which their TEs exploited). I agree with you on this but I think they didn't call him out of bounds cause he stepped out sideways instead of forward. They seem to make these calls random and out of bounds isn't always out of bounds. I would love to see if the ref winds the clock after the play.
