Josh Allen the most blitzed QB in the NFL

Recommended Posts

Looks like hes the most blitzed but times pressured per drop back hes 21st.  Lots of blitzes, not a lot of pressure from blitzing if I'm interpreting that correctly.

As opposed to Wentz who is second most blitzed, most hits, most pressures, 6th in pressure percentage.

Interestingly enough, upcoming opponent Nick Mullens has faced the most pressures per drop back.

Yes...our backs and OLine have done a fantastic job at picking them up for the most part.  It is a great things to see when it happens because when you see Allen step up and throw, there is likely a guy running wide open he is throwing to since they are in man to man.

Blitzes divided by passing attempts.

Wouldn't it be dropbacks? Pass attempts doesn't include when he is sacked or scrambles.

And, he has learned to take better sacks ( last game/ twisted ankle notwithstanding)

Last year, he kept taking those sacks after backing up 20 yards and taking us out of FG range, repeatedly. Another example of JA and Daboll turning a weakness into a strength.

And even with that stat he's still completing passes at a 10% better clip than 2019, basically has the same amount of yards passing as in 2019, and basically has the same number of total TD'S as in 2019 all in just 11 games.

I never realized he had an alcohol problem.

Is it a problem if it’s only once a week, he just gets really blitzed when he does?

According to Pro Football Reference.

Or am I reading this wrong?

This is when you call all that money Beane spent on the line, a shrewd investment.. and it’s not like they aren’t throwing it...
