Yea he obviously made a couple of dumb mistakes today but overall this was his best game in a number of weeks. Even just a legitimate NFL player would be a huge upgrade at this point. He's literally the only DT on this roster that should be taking regular snaps at this level. I think that is fair. Probably wishful thinking to hope that if they find a solid 1T (Star or otherwise) that they don't continuously rotate them around. Not sure why they called it on Oliver. I agree. I guess Gannon said that Hebert was out of the pocket and so White was able to hit him low. I didn’t realize that was the rule. Solely responsible for one run stuff and then made a different hit to trip up a back behind the line one other time that somebody else cleaned up. Yes that is why White tackle was ok. Oliver blasted Herbert in a high low combo hit with White. It was a violent collision. Like it or not they are going to throw the flag more often than not when that happens. Thought it was on Tre at first and wasn’t happy but I wouldn’t want that hit on josh not called. The moss and Allen fouls were just so silly though.
