CFB Week 7

My Conclusions after week 7:

1) I think that this week left little doubt that the ACC is a complete joke other than Clemson, who no sane person could deny is a GREAT team, if not the best.

2) The SEC reminds me a lot of the Big 10 this season in terms of how they are all pretty good and beating themselves up.

3) At the end of the season, defenses will have a very strong say in who will be make the playoffs. Right now it seems to be mostly the offenses having their way.

4) At the half it did not look good for Alabama, and they would have lost the game if their defense didn't get itself together in a hurry. As good as their offense looks, they will not be enough to carry the Tide to a title, or maybe even the playoffs unless they develop more pass rush, AND get better vs. the run.

Agreed. I did not expect Florida to lose to Texas A&M, and I was surprised at how Kentucky beat up Tennessee. Mississippi State is off to a slow start, but they seem headed in the right direction, and welcome back to football, Arkansas.

Hopefully these absurd shootouts come to an end. The SEC was looking like the Big 12.

As good as their offense looks, they will not be enough to carry the Tide to a title, or maybe even the playoffs unless they develop more pass rush, AND get better vs. the run. This is a different Alabama team, but they still have playmakers on offense. Turnovers killed Georgia in the second half.
