He was due a big roster bonus today, I believe.  Hanging on to him would mean someone taking over his huge salary plus a roster bonus.  If they couldn't trade him they were on the hook for millions in bonus money.

They are still on the hook for the Bonus so. As it was guaranteed

Our offense needs that run game to grind down defenses and bell is practically a wr.  He had 1250 all purpose yards last year with 66 receptions and almost 500 yards. Such a threat.  Only problem is maybe not enough balls to go around but winning helps that

On Tuesday it seemed we lacked targets.  Diggs was force feed on too many occasions.

As much as he can run the ball, Bell is an excellent WR.  When Bills go 10 sets or empty sets he can play like a WR and has done so for Steelers.  And at 6'1" tall he represents a much bigger target for Josh than Moss/Singletary.    You can setup with him and motion him wide to alter coverage and get him one on one vs an LB.

That being said, I am a bargain bin shopper and would only offer a 2020 deal for minimal $
