Augie Posted October 9, 2020 Share Posted October 9, 2020 (edited) I know this may sound severe, but what they did was extremely irresponsible and had a negative impact on a multi-billion dollar operation. The punishment has to sting! So here it is: nothing but ranch dip with their wings for life! The league will do everything possible to avoid forfeits. Too messy. I see a heavy penalty with lost draft picks, the question is how many and how high. They were sloppy, they didn’t intentionally cheat to gain an advantage, as one other team we play a couple times a year does routinely. (OK, they did intentionally try to lessen a disadvantage, a bit different.) It will be interesting! The monetary fines mean nothing to me. They throw out numbers that sound HUGE to us non-billionaires, but amount to relatively little to NFL owners. .
