Other teams do their thing - we hope they're the right thing but all sorts of things happen. In the slow grinding fullness of time, the NFL will eventually decide on discipline for the Titans, but IMO it will not involve forfeiting the game this Sunday, not for something that took place before the forfeit sanction was announced as a possible punishment. The NFL just isn't nimble and decisive like that, nor is it retroactive. Meanwhile, either no more Titans players test positive tomorrow and Friday and they get into the facility and we might play OR Players continue to test positive and the NFL will have to figure out an alternative plan for the game. Draft picks hurt a bit. But start costing the team games and this behavior will stop. Look at it this way: the Bills were going to win anyway, so this way the Titans are punished and a message is sent, nobody gets injured, and the outcome is the same. And we're all rested for KC. If you start forfeiting games because of broken safety protocols I think a whole new can of worms gets opened up. The legitimacy of a championship starts getting put into question IMO.
