IgotBILLStopay
This was a play Allen and Beasley has practiced a lot. And it led to the completion that kept the game alive for the Bills and was IMO was THE play of the game. Beas runs the route perfectly. But do also check out Diggs’ route. He too finds a soft spot in the zone and may have been open even more (Troy Hill - #22 for Rams) is in the middle but Diggs has enough of a cushion and could have made a play on a perfectly thrown ball and he was at the marker. More importantly he is the guy that draws #22 and #43 (Johnson) away from Beasley. And even Tyler Kroft coulda given the Bills 15 yards there making it a manageable 4th down.

K-9
You can count on less than one hand the number of QBs in this league capable of making that throw.
whatdrought
Arm strength isn’t about 50 yard bombs; it’s about 20 yard lasers that get to the receiver before the DB knows he let it go.

Success
Not proud at all, but just before that throw, I was telling the room that the game was over. I was in "old Bills" mode. Allen is such a winner. He wills this team to victories in situations like that. I have to get used to it. 1

teef
it's strange to have a qb that when it's 3 and 22 you think, "this is doable". 2

Virgil
Three things made this play 1 - Diggs drew two defenders with him away from Beasley 2 - The 3rd defender was watching Allen's eyes follow Diggs and drifted with them 3 - Allen's illegal in 49 states Rocket Arm

I’ve been on this bandwagon since before last season. Not since Kelly, is down & distance irrelevant with Allen under Center. ”He can make make all the throws” means 30 yarders on a rope on 4th down.

You know, a war hero hand... one that had all of their fingers blown off (except their middle finger for some miraculous reason) while throwing back a grenade... That's the counting hand for the number of QBs that can make that throw...
