Ahead of Barry just like he was in college.  Congrats.

The Cowboys will wear replicas of the white uniforms they wore against the Mountaineers when OSU beat West Virginia 35-33 in the 1987 Sun Bowl.

Thomas was the MVP of the game, rushing for 157 yards and four touchdowns on a snowy day in El Paso, Texas.

Stillwater, OK?  They ought to get Barry Gibbs, last of the Bee Gees,  to play Still Waters at that game.

Still Waters (Run Deep)

Bee Gees

Still waters run deep
Just remember when we lie to each other
No one wins and losers weep
Reflections will show
This connection we can lean on each other
This is all we need to know

Now I admit I've been a fool sometimes
I believe I may be losing you
It's now or never, we talk before a tear is shed
Under your spell and over my head
You took me in your arms, and you told me
We don't need to worry, but you
You never say you're sorry

Keep this love alive for us, it's all I feel
How can we survive if we change what is real

Still waters run deep
Just remember when we lie to each other
No one wins and losers weep
Deception will show
It's a struggle when you're starved for affection
This is all we need to know

I see the angel and the devil in your heart
I confess,

Looooong overdue!

Somehow I was unaware that he wasn’t up there. Long overdue indeed. Some guys are like first ballot HOF guys, and deserve the instant “IN”, and Thurman is that guy.

“In the NFL, he was a five-time Pro Bowler for the Buffalo Bills, helping the team to four straight Super Bowl appearances, and was the league MVP in 1991.”

Thomas was also the real MVP of Super Bowl XXV. His performance was by far the best of any player in that game.

Youz guyz know the definition of inaugural, right? It can’t be ‘loooong overdue’ if it never was..

I’ve been here long enough to know the finer points are usually lost, and OSU football is not our strong point.

Hey, I assumed it was a Bills thing at first.

I'm shocked that OSU only just created this "Ring of Honor" when dozens of other worthy candidates played there over the decades.

Jesus. I lived in OKC for a few years and have been to games in Stillwater. People regularly wear Thurman Bills Jerseys on Saturdays for game day. Lots of them. I just assumed he was on their ring of honor.

I am shocked that 1. He isn’t already up there, and 2. I didn’t pick up on it before.
