The extra point show was about the same with callers complaining about Josh running too much, risk of injury, etc...

I was able to talk to Sal on air and was able to ask if the questionable FG Bass missed was able to be challenged.

On the TV broadcast they said No because it was over the uprights

And if you look at the pounding Newton has taken over his career you understand why people are worried. Also, how many fumbles did Cam have? He has 55 in 125 games. Josh has 24 in 29 games. That's alarming frequency.

Do you think that newton would have had half of the career he's had if the Panthers had 'played it safe' and kept him from using his legs?

This is football and theres always going to be a risk of injury no matter the play

If you are going to worry about your QB getting injured because hes running, you don't draft a QB like Newton, Jackson, Allen, etc.

thats on par for most sports talk radio - negativity drives ratings. Calls are screened so the selected narrative is discussed.

Thats because it usually drives discussion, unlike what some seem to expect by having all Calls be people calling in just to say how amazing and perfect everything is because they won! But when that happens, fans just complain about the 'Homerism' going on

im a big fan of celebrating and complaining when warranted. A week 1 dominating victory vs a divisional opponent is not the time to be complaining. Losses will come. If you complain after a win whats going to happen after a loss?

A dominating win is usually one where a team wins by more then 10 points, and doesn't just give up scoring at half time. The first half of the game was dominating, the second half was typical McDermott football making sure he doesn't hurt the other teams feelings.

Even in wins there can be bad/negative things that can be talked about or discussed and not be happy about.

Sports radio in Buffalo ain’t that bad. Morning guys are good, Schopp is usually good when the talk isn’t fantasy, Bulldog is only on because he’s Bulldog and has been on local radio forever, and Sal is pretty good.

Anyway... who heard Louis call Sal this morning?

LOL

Or you don't have him run a designed run when you are up 21-0. That's an option too.
