Younger guys on the board here might not remember, but back in the early 90s, our first picks didn't see a lot of playing time their first season -- Henry Jones and John Fina spring to mind. The glass half full version would be it’s a sign of a very talented and deep roster (and position) that is not desperate for a rookie playing in his first professional game. I know, I know....it would be a lot more fun to see our shiny new toy because he’s been tearing it up, but there is a positive way to see it, too.
