Can’t say I would mind it if the NFL can get off the ground on time. In fact, I’d probably prefer it. It may increase the ratings for both the NFL and college. Football funds almost all the other sports so they will play I'm taking the "conference games only" announcement by the Big 10 to be good news. This should now mean full speed ahead, this is the plan, otherwise they would have waited to make a judgment closer to the season. This is the judgment from them and I will take that. If the test is positive the student will be isolated and all those who were in close contact with this student will be quarantined for 14 days. All sports activities related to this group will be cancelled for 14 days and with no further exposures. This complies with NCAA guidelines. I read through the guidelines in the link below. Maybe there is something a little more authoritative out there, but I didn't see it. Just because I know schools are struggling financially, and football is seen as a quick fix. On top of that, not terribly thrilled with the reporting from the NFL. We have reports of a handful of players/coaches with COVID in the NFL. Peyton, Von Miller, and Zeke. The NHL, MLB, and NBA are at least giving total players infected. They are at about 30 each as of earlier this week. Just based on roster size and practice squads, the NFL should probably be in the 70-90 range, and that is giving them the benefit of the doubt.
