A little common sense can go a long way. I’m not saying lock yourself in your house. Life can go back close to “normal” IMO, but skipping the big concert, or 20k maskless person indoor rally, or happy hour with people 5 deep at the bar, or any other obviously dangerous situation would be a good idea for everyone right now. Crowded bars seem to be particularly likely spots to get infected (see Clemson football), so maybe less of that isn’t such a bad idea.

Meh. I don't think the virus is going away anytime soon. At this point it is what it is. Sports is the least of my worries and I don't plan on seeing them for quite some time. Players are going to continue to test positive, just like we all are, until we have the vaccine.

I agree with this take, except that the collective point of view of the country may change before we have a vaccine. I think we're going to see a lot more people with the disease having minor symptoms, and we're going to see death rates decline.

I also agree with you.

I think we have already witnessed the death rates decline but will the NFL, or any other sport, be willing to risk having a death on their hands? (coach, employee, family member, etc.)

I agree with all of that (except the meh). It’s here for a while whether we like it or not. We must weather the storm. In the meantime, I want life to be as close to “normal” as possible. I can go out and about, I can shop and eat at restaurants, etc. BUT, it needs to be done wisely. It’s like the Supreme Court on pornography.......I know a bad idea when I see it. Plenty of that out there these days. We can’t have 100% of our freedom back and minimize the negative effects at the same time. We have to play this in the middle somewhere.
