It actually doesn't mention COVID-19 anywhere in the promotion, other than the delayed shipping.

Why isn't anyone busting GNC's balls for selling snake oil supplements?

GNC hasn’t won a Super Bowl.....

1st you call it a bogus product,

then you say it's ok to screw people if $ goes to charity!?!?

Really?! Seems like your really hurting from the 20 years he dominated the Bills. Let it go. I did, 10 years ago.

It is a bogus product for $45 a bottle.

My  intended meaning was "I would be less concerned about the issue" if it was for Charity.

He wants to profiting off of people who are just to dumb to know better.

It is not a Bills Fan thing

Maybe it's just unfortunate timing. Maybe it's just social media running away with a narrative.

A million and one health and wellness companies, many of them owned and/or sponsored by pro athletes, fitness trainers, etc., have been doing the exact same thing for many, many years. WTF indeed. As in, “WTF is the big deal?”

It's modern day snake oil. That makes it a bit of a big deal. I guess in today's climate, deceit has become a good thing?

Because they're not trying to take advantage of a pandemic. I guess poor Tom just can't make it on he and his wife's salary

neither is he. An immune booster falls well in line with the rest of the crap he sells, which all falls well in line with general health, wellness and fitness. Again, all sour grapes. Get over it. The Bills had 20 years to beat him. They couldn’t. Stop obsessing. It’s creepy.

Because he is charging too much for what is essentially Vitamin C and he is claiming it will help you fight off viruses (like COVID-19).

It's snake oil.

It's right up the alley of all his other TB12 products that have no scientific backing and plenty of criticisms from healthcare professionals and nutritionists.

But you have to understand that people have different moral and ethical standards. They range from hyperindividualistic and hypercapitalistic to hypercollective and hypersocialistic with everything in between. We can see this spectrum right here in this thread. The main point is don't argue. It's pointless.

Tom Brady could find a cure for cancer and Bills fans would still find some way to hate it

Tom Brady couldn't cure cancer because that would require FDA approval and some semblance of proof that his latest miracle pill actually does something.

What Tom Brady can do is use his celebrity and some opportunism to market multi-vitamins while insinuating they will protect you from Covid-19 or take advantage of the concussion issue in football to sell you coconut water mixed with tylenol.  And he can take all the criticism that comes with, at best, suspect business practices and, at worst, dangerous misrepresentations of the medicinal properties of his bull####.

Is the Federal Trade Commission just a bunch of haters and Bills fans?

Get over it FTC! All the cease and desist letters in the world won't make up for the fact that Tom Brady's football team used to beat the Buffalo Bills!

Tom Brady announced this week that he’s selling a new vitamin supplement that enhances the immune system. But medical experts are skeptical of the product’s benefit and concerned Brady may be taking advantage of the coronavirus pandemic to sell his latest TB12 product.

Glad to know the Rice Hulls are organic --- wouldn't want the Little People to spend their hard earned $45 on ordinary Rice Hulls.

Would love to have an analytical lab run an arsenic level on 'em.

Let me know when Tom Brady finds an actual cure for cancer (not just some overpriced bottle that says "not proven to do anything" in the fine print) and we can do the experiment

Riiiiiiiiiiight.  We're in the middle of a pandemic, people are nervous as states are reopening and ready or not, they must go back to work, and the guy just COINCIDENTALLY choses this time to market a $45 tub of a product labeled "PROTECT" that is said to "support a healthy immune response".

I'm sure that's just a coincy-dink.   I don't need to obsess in order to note that it appears unethical and misleading to me - regardless of who beat whom
