That was the year of the “big receiver” and there ended up being a bunch of busts, including Hardy and Sweed. edit: Devin Thomas, Malcom kelly, James Hardy, and Limas Sweed— everyone was after the “big” receiver that year. There were a ton drafted in the first two rounds. Ironically, out of that supposedly deep WR draft class, only the “smurfs” had productive NFL careers (DeSean Jackson and Eddie Royal). You just got Brandon Marshall physically and Jerry Rice mentality wise. No BS. This kid is special. Its been reported since he stepped foot on campus he was early to every practice on the jugs machine and stayed late every day doing the same. He did this his whole time at UCF. Any time during offseason and bowl prep this kid stayed inside watching film with coaches.
