Allen's WRs his last year were an absolute embarrassment though, whereas Herbert's were simply bad. Allen will be 20 times a better QB than Herbert. Herbert isn’t threatening in the slightest. Yeah it makes sense, definitely a bridge/stop gap QB. But I think Miami has been through enough of those lol. Probably the best one they had post Marino was Jay Fiedler. Guy had like one signature game in his entire Oregon career and that was him running the ball in the RoseBowl which is something he didn't do that much of.
