How bad does this have to suck for Joe Burrow, Chase Young, and all the high first round draft picks?  They've spent their lives up to this point working towards that moment when their name is announced and they walk out onto that stage and Goodell hands them that jersey.

Now they're getting Zoom or Skype time

Good to not be man handled by Goodell.

They need to consult with laywers and find out if they sign contract and season is cancelled what happens?  Do I get all that money for doing nothing as NFLPA likes or does it kick it down a year.

Should be fun with a lot more surprises to the average fan, since the experts will have a lot harder time piece-ing together accurate boards which they’ve gotten quite good at.

Have you seen the history of the draft gurus?  There are more busts by experts than there are in draft!

lol, I think the other 31 teams will be the ones mysteriously having connection issues...

And then the Pats will raise hell about it being unfair to them that they were the only ones prepared and how they are owed more compensatory picks for it.

....uhm wouldn't a mock draft be kind of bad? Seems like that could leak a bunch of information to other teams.

You dont have to use real names or players. The point is to run through the motions. There will be a lot of "Taro Tsujimoto" picks.

How could you possibly think they would be dumb enough to do that?  It'll be scripted as a dry run, and TE Hingle McCringleberry will get drafted 1st overall again.

Like seriously, it blows my mind how you think an NFL GM would be so daft as to actually go "Durr well we would trade from this pick but if we had to choose someone here it would be QB Justin Herbert herpa derp..."

They have testing kits, just have 20 people test for it and if you don’t have it your can enter the war room at the facility.

Sure, it's just that easy to secure 660 unnecessary tests for well-to-do people in locations around the country they may have to travel to so they can attend an unnecessary non-essential gathering in violation of applicable regulations.  The optics and burden on the testing facilities and resources will be great.

Just have Kraft fly his jet to China and pick up test kits so he can write it off as a 100,000,000 expense.

They won’t even announce picks. It’ll be to test the submittal process and to test team-to-team communication to facilitate trades.

It would be something like "With the 1st overall pick in the 2020 Mock Draft, the Bengals select Player One from Football University."

"Ok received.  Now the GMs of every odd numbered team, call the team after you to trade down with them for a bag of potato chips.  Report back to us starting from the top."

And have him kidnap the people to process the tests and a facility to do them in, Carmen San Diego style?
