I'm assuming you meant 2021?

Arm strength also poses a problem because sometimes Allen relies on it too much. Zipping it into coverage or throwing off his back foot, etc. He has to strike a balance between trusting his arm, risk taking, and making smart decisions.

The biggest advantage to having a huge arm ISNT how far you can throw it. It's the zip you can get on the ball in the 10-25 yard range

Allen needs to clean up alot of footwork but what you cannot teach is the laserbeams he fires at the intermediate level. They are precise and they are super effective because the velocity he generates gets the ball their in a hurry

Best examples I can think of rn are the TD to Brown on sideline vs Dolphins and the endzone throw to Beasley vs Cowboys

The ball looks different coming out of his hand...legit cannon

And he doenst need a wind-up to generate any velocity. He has a compact , crisp fast release. The throw to Brown you are referencing was a legitimate big time throw that 95% of the league doesn't even attempt

He threw a dart in between the cover 2 which takes serious arm strength and precise accuracy to a big time part of the field

You could tell it got on Brown way faster than he was anticipating...I always think 'arm talent' is a dumb phrase but if there was ever a guy it applies to it's Allen

No doubt one of the best throws I’ve ever seen...along with the throw to Beasley when Allen was under pressure in the end zone against the Cowboys...?

and then there’s Barkley..

Come on @Chandler#81 - you know that Barkley has the strongest arm on the team - you just need to qualify it a bit.

Barkley has the strongest arm on the Bills for a guy named Matt, that played at USC and on at least 5 other NFL teams, born on 9/8/90, drafted in the 4th round, and has a career TD to Int ratio of 1:2.

Even then he just barely wins, but it proves he has the strongest arm - so we need to cut him some slack.
