I would however be very excited about having another legitimate qb in camp to complete for that spot. I also think it would make a lot of sense to bring in a qb that can run. That way, if (or when) Allen gets hurt, you don’t have to completely change your offense. I’d like to see a guy that can run the offense as is in the backup role. How many more/less games would QB x win in those 4 games? These are the questions to ask. I'd go on record saying Barkley would win 2/4 and every FA QB available might do the same.
