Tyrod Taylor tells the media that the chargers will turn heads if He’s the one calling the shots

Tyrod will get killed. He is not shifty enough to avoid the hard hits like Jackson does, nor do I think he would be as durable.

There's not another QB in the league that can run an offense like Baltimore's, but that's just my opinion, I suppose.

The Bills were a top-10 scoring offense with Tyrod running that scheme.

Worry less about how well/poor Tyrod does, and worry more about the the way Allen plays for the Bills.  He was below average last year by every metric.  Fortunately for him the front office has gone out of its way to surround him with a good offense, now it's up to Allen.  I mean, Allen has yet to have a better statistical season than Tyrod, so again, worry about Allen.

Tyrod won the Bills 10 games???

Most important stat!!!

I get why people didn't like Tyrod as a QB while he was here. He obviously had a pretty low ceiling as a passer. But comments like this always crack me up. Tyrod ranked among the highest in the league each year in terms of how often he pushed the ball down the field. Allen has been worse in that regard (not to mention just far worse in terms of actual success throwing down the field).

The idea that Tyrod only checked it down was a myth. He had plenty of issues as a passer but that wasn't one of them.

He won’t cost em wins with his arm but... he won’t get em any either. The team will rise or fall depending on how their defense and run game perform.

Let us not diss on him too much - in open competition he showed he was better than EJ Manuel but worse than Baker Mayfield.

Baker was the #1 pick in the draft and the team had a losing record.  He never had a chance to start realistically.  Baker just had a magical rookie season, but fell down to Earth last season.

I think Tyrod is wrong (He is more of a caretaker QB who can make some plays with his legs) but I do hope nothing but the best for him. I know fans here like to treat him like a complete ####### because he wasn't the long term answer at QB but Tyrod was in my opinion the best QB of the drought era and was the QB that ended the drought. So many fans here were clamoring for Peterman to replace Tyrod in 2017 because of how good he looked in the Pre-Season (Yeah that's how delusional the hate of Tyrod was.) I will always root for Tyrod as he was the QB that ended the drought and provided solid QB play for 3 years going slightly above .500 in doing so.

I don't know how any Bills fan can honestly hate Tyrod or think of him as a joke. We all should be rooting for him to some extent. I know this board has a chronic hate of all things Tyrod but I honestly hope that as time goes on he does get remembered as the QB that broke the drought and bridged the Rex to McBeane eras.

If a player gets into the right system, anything can happen. Is Tyrod having a pipe dream?

Probably. On the other hand, look at Ryan Tannehill, and all of those years that he stunk up the joint in Miami. Look at him now.

LeSean McCoy said Tyrod was a running back playing quarterback. Pretty much sums up my feelings. If Fitz had been blessed with a stronger arm (maybe like Tyrod's arm) he would have been a very good starting calibre QB.

Sorry I don't. Just my recollection. But he did say it (at least it was reported). I remember being surprised given that they were in the same backfield at the time.

People really in here talking ***** about a guy who played hard for the Bills, was a class act the whole time, and was the starting quarterback for the team that ended the 17-year playoff drought?

Shameful.

I've not seen that from Mccoy ever. He pretty consistently defended Tyrod from criticism.

I think that was after we traded Tyrod to Cleveland. That Jaguars game was a disaster, you put any other QB like Andy Dalton or Fitzpatrick and we win that game. Our defense was good enough to keep us in games

I did a cursory search and found nothing. If he said it I'm sure someone would have covered it.
