I would still start Lott with Ed Reed over Taylor as Lott also played CB early in his career and was the voice of a solid defense. Yes...based off of nasty hits and as a physically freakish athlete, Taylor is an all-time great. He and Kenny Easley would round out my top 6 safeties since I started watching football in the 80s.
